The term reverse supply chain is the movement of goods from the customer to the vendor. A reverse supply chain is the opposite of the traditional supply chain, which is the movement of goods from supplier to customer. Reverse logistics is the process of planning, implementing and controlling the efficient and effective inbound flow and storage of secondary goods and related information for the purpose of recovering value or proper disposal.
