A planogram is a retail diagram on how and where a store’s products or services are to be positioned on shelves or displays. The planogram is strategic tool of visual merchandising in order to increase customer’s purchases.  Planograms assist organizations in planning how their stores are going to look. Also, the planogram is a document/map, which details which height on a shelf the product should be displayed, as well as which products should surround the item.
