Enterprise Resource Planning or (ERP) is a planning and scheduling system whereby various modules of a company's system can share data. An information management system that integrates data across all divisions, such as planning, purchasing, inventory, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, etc. The term ERP is most often used in the context of software, which allows executives to effectively manage the resources of the entire company by pulling all of the relevant data from every department’s unique systems.
