Termination for the Convenience of the Government is a contractual right of the Government, when done in good faith, to end a contract without cause. It is a right to be exercised in the best interest of the Government. It usually occurs when need or funding no longer exists for a requirement or the procurement has drastically changed and requires a new solicitation.
