The term over-wrap consists of product being wrapped with some type of flexible wrapping material. The flexible wrap could include aluminum foil, paper, heat sealable film or stretch film. Examples of over-wrapping are: L sealing, sleeve wrapping, flow wrapping, four sided sealing or vertical form fill and seal. Generally, when a product is to be over-wrapped with an overwrapping machine the packaging is a heat sealable film around the product.
