Judiciary refers to the branch of government chosen to oversee the legal system though the court system. The judicial branch of government is endowed with the authority to interpret and apply the law, adjudicates legal disputes, and otherwise administers justice. The U.S. judiciary system comprises a set of state and federal courts, tribunals, and administrative bodies, as well as the judges and other judicial officials who preside over them.
