eBusiness is a term that has only been around since the late 1990’s. Though there is no universally accepted standard definition, e-Business is most commonly defined as the application of electronic information and communication technologies as a primary means of doing business. For example, a website that sells strictly digital information without any brick and mortar stores would be considered an e-Business.
